Leesburg Bikefest 2012

This was my first time to attend the Leesburg Bikefest 2012 and it was a huge event. There was so many motorcycles, it reminded me of the good old days when I use to ride with my friend Jarry.

Last weekend we were invited to lake Minneola Fl by Cheri and we had a great time. The weather was nice and the wind was calm. In Central Florida we have great weather most of the time.It is located in Clearmont near highway 50, close to Orlando. In Central Florida you don’t have to drive very far to find a lake.

Silver Springs Florida

Silver Springs Florida is the site of one of the largest artesian spring formations in the world, producing nearly 550 million gallons of crystal-clear water daily. Silver Springs forms the headwaters of the Silver River, the largest tributary on the Ocklawaha River, a part of the St. Johns River system.

If you are visiting central Florida from January – May then you don’t want to miss picking fresh strawberry’s. We go there all the time and it is not only fun but you get the best and biggest strawberry’s you have never seen. This is at Oak Haven Farms located in Sorrento, Florida   This is something fun and different to do in Florida.

Tupelo Honey in Florida

I first found out about this honey when I was watching a PBS show about Florida on TV. That was so interesting that I had to order some. When my package came everyone in the house had to taste it. OMG, it is the best tasting honey I ever tried. To prove this I had some honey that I had purchased in the grocery store, the one in the bear jar. First tasted the grocery store honey and then the Tupelo Honey, WOW what a difference. We had to end up throwing out the grocery store honey as it was horrible next to the Tupelo Honey.
