Well, now you can if your in Florida or visiting Florida May – June, but don’t worry in the fall they have more. This is a fun place to visit for the whole family. Not only do they have corn, but many other vegetables are for sale depending on whats in season. Also they now have a small café that serves breakfast and lunch, Tuesday – Saturday 6:30 – 2 pm. In the fall they have lots of fun for family’s September  – December  with some great corn mazes to get lost in. (See their website for maze dates.) Lots of other activities for kids also.
I go every year and freeze the corn so that I will have it all winter long.This year they charge $12 for 24 ears and $7 for 12 ears, and you always get a few extra ears in each bag. Oh yeah, and the ears of corn are large and so good. Its worth the trip if you love corn.

To freeze corn on the cob, shuck the cobs and place them in a large steamer for about 7 minutes (you may have to turn them half way through) Then drain on clean kitchen towels and let them completely cool. Next roll each cob in aluminum foil, making sure to seal the whole cob. Then place about 4 ears in 1 gallon food storage bags and lay flat to freeze. When it comes time to eat them I take out however many you want to cook and let thaw. Then to grill them just put the foil wrapped ears on the grill turning until hot. Or you can remove the foil and either microwave them or steam them. Can boil them also but its much better to grill or steam.

This was my first time to attend the Leesburg Bikefest 2012 and it was a huge event. There was so many motorcycles, it reminded me of the good old days when I use to ride with my friend Jarry.

The Leesburg Bikefest 2012 was a three day event with many vendors and lots of bands to play. To attend there was no charge as it was paid for by the many sponsors.

The Leesburg Bikefest 2012 was such a huge event, I just cant imagine how they put it all together. Leesburg is about one hour drive from Orlando Florida, so it is close to the central Florida area.

I wish I could have had a motorcycle again to attend the Leesburg Bikefest 2012, but two things are holding me back. One is the cost of a motorcycle and the second is a health problem (osteoporosis). Its not typical for a man to have osteoporosis, however I would worry if I was to fall off of my bike and break some bones.

At the Leesburg Bikefest 2012, I was thinking about the days when my friend Jarry and I use to ride. We did many tours together,  our longest trip was 4000 miles and we drove across nine states. When you are touring on a motorcycle you see more and it is more of a challenge. At one point we drove across Nevada through the back roads where the towns are 100 miles apart. You drive on a two lane road and no one else is around.

The Leesburg Bikefest 2012 vendors had many products for every biker, you could even have new parts installed right there, so when you leave your motorcycle could have a whole new look. Everything from exhaust pipes to a new paint job.

The Leesburg Bikefest 2012 was such a big event that I will have to attend more of the bike feasts in the Central Florida. Be sure to check out the video play list below that I took while there.

Last weekend we were invited to lake Minneola Fl by Cheri and we had a great time. The weather was nice and the wind was calm. In Central Florida we have great weather most of the time.It is located in Clearmont near highway 50, close to Orlando. In Central Florida you don’t have to drive very far to find a lake.

lake Minneola Fl is on a chain of lakes, so if you have a boat you can go to the other lakes just bu passing through a small canal. The water levels are down because of a drought, so passing to the other lakes might be difficult with a larger boat. One of the nice things about central Florida is its many lakes, so if you like the water sports this is the place to be.

At lake Minneola Fl many of the people who attended the event brought their own boats for us to use and enjoy. I cant thank them enough for doing that, because some of the boats require gas which is very expensive for a boat. There were also kayaks to use and we had a great instructor to show us how to use them.

At lake Minneola Fl we all brought our own food, it was a pot luck. There were many different types of food and deserts to try. Thanks to everyone for making the food, it was very good.

There was many things to do at lake Minneola Fl, from boating to just enjoying the weather, the only thing you cannot do is swim in the water, however the boating and other events make up for that. Hopefully this summer the rains will come back and fill the lake back up to its normal level.

There are also many animals at Silver Springs Florida to see. When you are on the boats you can feed the fish. It is illegal to catch any of the fish in the river. Some of the other animals include bears, cougars, and birds.

Silver Springs Florida is a great place to go and relax and get away from all of the crowds that go to all of the central Florida theme parks. The Silver River is quite beautiful and the grounds are filled with lots of trees, its really a place to rejuvenate yourself .

Silver Springs Florida is not far from Orlando, about 90 minutes to drive there. Its still a place worth visiting to see what Florida is famous for. Its also a national land mark.

Annoying Realtors in Florida -  as a realtor  myself I can tell you  that there are lots of annoying clients that I prefer not to work with. But this blog is not about our annoying clients, this is about the annoying realtors in Florida that I dont  like to work with.

What amazes me is that these  annoying realtors in Florida  have been in business a lot longer than I have.  They are getting  a steady referrals from their previous clients.  They love to brag about how many houses they sold, and how big is their data base of clients.

Annoying Realtors in Florida #1- I remember this one veteran realtor, she has a buyer and made an offer on a property whom I’m the listing agent.  She called me and she said that If I can come to the property and try to fix the busted pipe so the property can pass FHA inspection. I told her that I dont know how to do that, and she said  dont you have a relatives that can fix it  for us?

First of all I’m not a handy man. Second I dont want to be liable to my sellers for fixing things that I’m not suppose to and be sued later on.  She said shes the realtor that will go above and beyond for her client.   Ya right, like performing surgery even if you are not a doctor?

Annoying Realtors in Florida #2- I got a call from this one, she said she has a cash buyer wants to see my listing  property. She asked me if I can show it to her client because she happen to be in vacation, and will catch up on her client when she comes back.

Annoying Realtors in Florida#3- I dont know maybe because of our economy or what, but I keep receiving calls from other realtors desperate to know the status of a short sale.  Calling me every week will not make the bank move a little faster.

Annoying Realtors in Florida#4-  Dont respond to my call or e-mail regarding the property we are working on.  you would think that they would be eager to head to closing. This realtor  told me that he got a lot of experience and he knows what is he doing.  He dont communicate with his buyer, his buyer is calling me for the update of their offer.

Annoying Realtors in Florida#5- They got the listing few months ago, and still there are no description on the property and there are no pictures to show my clients at the MLS.

Annoying Realtors in Florida#6- They call you and ask you if you speak Spanish, and if you dont ,they dont call you back.

Annoying Realtors in Florida#7- I asked my prospects why they decided to hire the other realtor instead of me and they are telling me that this one particular realtor allow them to buy back their house  in a short sale.  They use somebody else name as a buyer then the seller is the one that give them cash to buy the property and will transfer it back to the  seller later on.

Annoying Realtors in Florida#8- I call this one Miss Sue because everything that come out of her mouth is -I will sue you if this deal did not go thru. I will call Respa, I will call channel  9 news , I will sue your company. blah, blah, blah.  Stupid woman call all the saints you know, I could care less.

Annoying Realtors in Florida #9- Lazy realtors that has  too many gadgets, high tech tools like tablet ,I phone,all kinds of phone apps that you can imagine, they have it.  They  can create fancy, and  impressive CMA.  but they are not willing to roll their sleeves  when work is needed.

Annoying Realtors in Florida#10- The most annoying  one of them all is me, yes it’s me.  I specialize in annoying other realtors.  I hang up on them, I dont respond to their e-mail.  I yell at them at times.  There are times I sound like a total moron,  just to annoy the other  person on the  other line.  I only do those things if I feel that I’m being bullied.

I  talk to a lot of home-buyers and lots of them are tired dealing with the HOA; and they wish they live in a place where there’s lots of  room for parking and entertaining. Celebration Florida is one  of the community in Florida that people are realizing that the HOA have lots of power over the home owner.

HOA can actually foreclose on your home if you don’t pay them, I have a client who live in Celebration, and the HOA only gave her 48 hours to pack and live.   ( according to her) I also have another client that the HOA in Celebration told her that she cannot plant her trees in her yard because its not on their list of plants that should be planted in Celebration. Her neighbors is telling her that she don’t belong there. Now shes considering buying  a big property for sale.
